HTR Warriors win the Rolls Royce Cricket Evening League 2008.

HTR Warriors beat Eagles in the decider of the Rolls Royce Cricket Evening League 2008, to lift the 60 year old Kangaroo Cup.

Needing to win the match to win the tournament, the Warriors put Eagles to bat first. What followed was shear team spirit, skill and cricketing wisdom which saw Eagles reeling and wickets skittling one after the other. Warriors managed to bowl out Eagles, the winners of 2006 and 2007 for just 86 runs. The target was reached in the 10 over with 7 wickets in hands, hence inflicting a 7 wicket win over Eagles.
